3D Animals

Research
During October 2021 I was lucky enough to see 'Storm' tower 10 meters tall over Irvine. I watched her from a large hill which she was still just taller than. This impressive puppet was created using natural resources and recycled rubbish. Along with her was smoke and whale songs mixed with a female voice singing or speaking abrupt words and phrases.
Although the largeness of the puppet was breathtaking, without the use of smoke and sounds, the atmosphere would certainly not have been as impactful. This is an example of the importance of Art Directing, a skill very important in the following project which has a photo as the final result.

The brief for Semester 2 week 2 was to capture the essence of an animal using only rubbish or unwanted materials.
The following is my results of this brief.

To the right is my goose trying to blend in with the non-rubbish animals.

During the Thursday session I was tasked to create Billie holiday out of plasticine, to the side is the result. I used photoshop to remove the background.
